This privacy policy governs your use of the software application The Art of War ("Application") for mobile devices which has been developed by Sufian Babri. The Application is an electronic version of the book "The Art of War"; a treatise attributed to Sun Tzu and translated by Lionel Giles.

1. What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

    2. Advertising ID and Android ID of your mobile device are used to deduplicate the app stats and crash reports.

  2. Device hardware information

    3. Device model name, operating system name and version, and whether device is rooted or not. These are used to build the usage stats.

  3. Location

    4. At the time of crash, the location is collected by the crash reporting library (Firebase Crashlytics).

  4. Stats about your use of the app

    5. Information about the way you use the Application is collected for improving your experience.

2. Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The data is transmitted securely to Firebase for either crash reporting or for building stats of the app usage. This data is used to help the developer in improving the application.

3. What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

4. Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The collected data is retained for 90 days.

5. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via application update summary on the PlayStore and in the changelog of the application.

You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
